Client Overview:
Kivler Communications is an executive coaching and leadership training company that services a wide range of corporations, organizations, government agencies and school systems. Carol Kivler, CSP, president of Kivler Communications, is solely responsible for conducting well over 2500 programs, in addition to running a second company, serving on the board of 2 organizations and her active involvement with the National Speakers Association (past president of the local chapter). Kivler Communications has a robust following and her busy schedule seems to be immune to the current economic condition that is affecting many of her competitors.
Project Overview:
Kivler Communications secured a long term coaching contract with a high profile financial organization to coach several of their executives including a well respected individual with a hearing impairment. Ms. Kivler detected some communication and cultural challenges within the team and enlisted Lynette's help.
Lynette's Function:
Through research Lynette collected a number of articles and state guidelines to help the organization understand the needs of the hearing impaired employee. Lynette also connected with her pool of resources which included 3 hearing impaired individuals who had first hand experience working in a hearing world. She gained their prospective and their best-practice suggestions. Lynette also called on the counsel of a non-profit organization specializing in support and advocacy for disabilities in the workplace.
The finished project contained assessments, reports, guidelines and case studies and was distributed to everyone on the team, strengthening team communication and enhancing team relationships.
Kivler Communications was extremely pleased with all the work that went into the project, the prompt completion time, but most importantly the positive reaction and results of her client.
